My Students

My students are sweet, spunky, and excited to learn! They are first graders at a Title I urban charter academy where 100% of students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Though their school career has gotten off to an unconventional start due to COVID-19, they have a contagious energy and passion for learning!

My Project

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are cleaning and sanitizing our common spaces, such as tables, rugs, supplies, doorknobs, and water fountains multiple times every day.

Our scholars are ready to learn, and our goal is to keep them healthy and safe!

In order to sanitize our common spaces multiple times a day, every school day, we are going through a LOT of cleaning supplies, and our classroom supply is just about depleted!

The Lysol disinfectant spray, wipes, and paper towels will be used to clean surfaces, such as student desks and small-group tables, many times each day. We will use the gloves to protect sensitive skin from coming into contact with the cleaning chemicals while we clean. Finally, the tissues will be used for sniffly students to help prevent sickness such as cold and flu from spreading.
