My Project

This school year my district implemented a new English Language Arts curriculum. The curriculum requires that many different resources be prepared in order to teach the lessons. This includes vocabulary cards and many times multiple materials needed for individual students, partners, and small groups. The curriculum publishers did not provide these items so teachers must spend a great deal of time preparing all of these materials.

I am requesting materials to help keep everything organized in individual binders as well as items to prepare the extra materials.

The binders and dividers will be used to organize each lesson. Cardstock and laminating pouches will be used to make vocabulary cards and the other needed materials. Laminating and putting the extra materials on cardstock will allow me to use everything for multiple years. Having everything organized by lesson in a unit binder will make instruction more efficient as everything needed will be included in the binder.
