Help me give my students name plates, trays, and name tags to keep them safe from germs when they return to in-class learning. Help me get a stand up magnetic white board to facilitate distance learning at home.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
This is the beginning of the school year, and I am so excited. I have not met my new students yet, but I know they will be fun, loving, unique, creative and most of all, eager and willing to learn.
My Project
I am a Pre-K teacher, and my students all begin the school year at the age of 4. They learn through hands-on experiences and sharing. Due to Covid-19, learning will be more individualized structured play in their own little space. Therefore, giving them their own tray will assist in giving them their own space and help contain the manipulatives they will be using at various times of the day. Having the individual plastic name tags and name plates will be easier to clean on a daily basis.
Because of my limited space at home, the stand-up magnetic white board will give me more flexibility in moving it around to present my lessons.
