This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology is an essential part of our classroom, helping students engage in small group instruction, play interactive learning games like Kahoot, and prepare for standardized testing, which is now 100% computer-based. However, our classroom computers frequently break down or require updates that only our IT specialist can fix. Since he only comes once a week, the turnaround time can be long, which leaves students without access to essential digital tools. These delays disrupt learning and make it challenging to keep the consistency in our lessons.

These iPads will serve as a reliable backup when computers are down, ensuring that students can continue their work without interruption.

Whether practicing for state assessments, collaborating on small-group activities, or reinforcing concepts through interactive review games, these devices will keep learning on track. The iPads will also support STEM and science projects, allowing students to take photos, collect and analyze data, and document their findings in creative ways. Having access to this technology will give students more opportunities to explore, create, and engage with their learning in meaningful ways.

My students are hardworking, curious, and resilient. Even when faced with technical difficulties, they remain eager to learn and adapt to new challenges. By providing iPads, you’ll help ensure they have the tools they need to succeed, no matter the obstacles. Your support will empower students to stay engaged, continue growing, and take their learning to the next level!
