Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing and engaged learners. It is important that they have the right organizational materials in order to be successful during their first year in school!

These students are a diverse group of learners from all over Harlem.

We are an ethnically, culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse community of learners. All of our students are engaged readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists!

My Project

In our classroom, we need seat sacks for the back of the chairs in order to keep our work organized. Seat sacks organize the classroom environment and keep the students' work organized. Seat sacks allow students to store their folders, book baggies, reading materials, and projects. It is a great way to keep our classroom community organized students!

Even as early as Kindergarten, we want to prepare kids for independent, student-driven, inquiry-based learning.

It is important that we give them the necessary tools to engage in that kind of learning. The requested materials will help foster students'€™ independence in the classroom and allow them to stay organized!
