My Students

My students are a wonderful group of young adults who are striving to learn as much as possible each day. They all have hopes and dreams of attending college after graduation. For some, they will be the first in their family to attend college. Each day, we work together using critical thinking and STEM skills to work toward their goals. My students have to overcome obstacles each day, yet they don't let any of them get them off track. My school consists of a diverse population, including military-affiliated families; 75% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My Project

COVID-19 has reshaped the world of education in many ways for my students this year. We have been learning virtually and now we are preparing to come back face-to-face! I know my students are ready and excited and so am I as their teacher. I miss seeing and interacting with them each day in class. To help prepare all of my students and to make sure they safe and healthy, I am requesting disinfecting spray and wipes. Having these resources in stock in our classroom will ensure that all my students have the resources they need to be successful and mostly healthy! I don't want any of my students to worry about catching this virus while we are together. With your support, we can make this reality come true. Thank you for considering to support my students through this project.
