My Students

My third graders are a great group of students! My classroom is made up of thirty eager third graders. I also have a wide range of reading and math abilities in my classroom. My reading levels range from pre-kindergarten to fourth grade.

It's important that I read with these children every day to get them on grade level by the end of the year.

Many of my students are very low readers, speak English as a second language, and get free or reduced-price lunch. All my students will do anything for anybody, especially the ESL students. We are always bringing the best out of everyone. Despite my students' backgrounds, they all have one thing in common, and that is their love of learning and helping others.

My Project

It is my responsibility to create a space that reflects the learning goals of the work, the personalities, interests, and ages of the students who learn there. I want to create a space that is a comfortable and productive learning environment for all. When a child accesses their environment, it should be clean, organized, and fresh-smelling. Cleaning materials will be used to assure each child in my class has the opportunity to experience a clean and germ-free learning environment. Many students come from disadvantaged situations and many of my students can't afford school supplies such as paper towels and tissue. The spray, cloths, and wipes will be used to sanitize the students' desks, tables, chairs, bookshelves, carpet, and floors. Air freshener will be used to freshen the airing the room.

The cleaning materials are much needed and will help create a clean, refreshing, and organized environment for my students to learn, grow, and play.

The cleaning materials and masks will be used to assure each child in my class has the opportunity to experience a clean and germ-free learning environment. My students use their desks, chairs, the floor, computer keyboards, countertops, and tables every day. New tablecloths are needed so we can change them up every couple of months. All these places should be clean and germ-free. I want my students to access these areas without hesitation and with all the scare out there today, we need to be as safe as possible. Please help us maintain the safety of all children.
