Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our mission is to create a healthy and more productive learning environment for our students. In our New York City classroom, the air often becomes stuffy and stale, making it difficult for our students to focus. The concentration and well-being of our 25 kindergarten students is paramount! To combat this problem, we are asking for your support to raise funds for an air purifying fan.

An air purifier will help reduce pollutants, allergens, and germs from the classroom air.

This means fewer sick days for our students, as well as reduced allergies, and improved overall health. Many of our young students have severe asthma, so this air purifying fan is imperative for our students’ overall well-being. With cleaner and cooler air, students can better focus on learning, leading to better academic performance. The combination of a purifier and fan will create an ideal environment for our students.
