Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students in my school come from various walks of life including diverse economic and social backgrounds. Nearly 70% of students within our school are economically disadvantaged. Many students in my class want to learn all that there is, but have the weight of the world on their shoulders.

These students work so hard during the school day and they deserve some time for fun and fresh air!

Please help our school secure safe and exciting recess toys.

My Project

We started the year with tons of joy and excitement for recess time. I am here to say that the students have truly enjoyed their recess time more than ever before. With all of the fun that they have had, we thought we could add to their recess bin.

We would like to continue to provide students, in all grades, with more recess equipment!

These items have helped to encourage safe, socially distant, fun play for our students and we want to continue doing so in 2022.

We are asking that donors help to refill our recess bin with even more toys for our students at CPE.
