Keeping Healthy!

Help me give my students balls for exercising! Many of them are sitting home gaining weight and not exercising. I plan to have them compete against each other by grade levels as well as competing against other students.

My Students

My students range from grades 9-12. They are students with a disability. Their disabilities range from autism, Intellectual disabilities and other health impairments. I love my students because they are hard workers even though many of them are faced with disabilities which they do not let hinder them.

My Project

The donations will help my students to remain healthy and active. Too many of my students are home being idle, not active, and not exercising, so these balls will add an extra incentive in becoming and maintaining an exercise regimen. I plan to instruct virtually while they are home following my exercise leads. Many of their parents are excited about the fact I want to encourage them in becoming more active. While engaging in virtual sessions, I plan to encourage peer connections to encourage exercising with peers as a motivational tool.
