Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students can get engaged in hands on activities, but sometimes it can get messy. Part of the Health learning standards, students learn about germs and how they can be harmful. However, this also means they will learn to identify practices that are good for the environment, such as turning off lights and water, recycling, and picking up the trash. In my classroom, students will adapt good cleaning habits by following classroom routines and schedules, and learning how to care for their environment. These are lifelong skills they can use beyond the classroom.
