My Students

Providing for the needs of special education students will certainly be one of my greatest challenges as a professional educator. Not only will these students demand more of my time and patience; so, too, will they require specialized instructional strategies in a structured environment that supports and enhances their learning potential.

It is important to remember that learning disabled students are not students who are incapacitated or unable to learn; rather, they need differentiated instruction tailored to their distinctive learning abilities.

The students in my class are very diverse in ethnicity, social class, and needs.

Special education students are the best to teach. They are growing, learning, and discovering new things every day!

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative, my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. Their love for reading and counting is incredible.

I want to give them the best education I can give and help them to be successful in their lives and in their future.

My Project

Every teacher loves laminator. I consider it a classroom necessity.

Student learning materials such as task cards and manipulatives can be used year after year when they are laminated.

They are materials that students can physically hold and use which allows for hands-on learning. Student folders will be laminated to preserve the longevity of their use. Folders that are not laminated do not last nearly as long as folders that are laminated.

Student classwork and art will be laminated as parents love to keep their children's work and art.

We will also be laminating projects, worksheets, and visual schedule to send home during this distance learning.
