My Students

Our school serves students from tk-5 grades with rigorous academics, phenomenal teachers, and a safe learning environment. My students are eager to write and illustrate their most creative stories and want to share them, too! Every morning before walking into the classroom we recite a poem in which it states “that in my room they are loved, respected, explorers, learners, creators, leaders, important, they can do hard things and they can change the world”, because I believe in them! this creed empowers my students to persevere each day and give it their all! Writing is not easy for 5 year olds, however, providing fun activities makes writing fun any day!

My Project

My students have discovered the joy of creating and sharing stories. By donating these materials: stencils and markers, you will help my students apply their use of knowledge in letter sounds, phonetic spelling, sight words, conventions, and sentence formation to create more stories!

My students will have the opportunity to use these stencils during their independent time, it will be flexible and fun for them since they will be engaged creating illustrations and stories at their own pace.

This is a great way to encourage my students to add more details to their writing... because we are never finished with our writing in our class! Lastly, my students will become more confident with their writing.
