My Students

"Where we start is not where we will finish," is the perfect statement to describe my students. They are often thought of as troublemakers; however, my students are bright and want to learn. We work hard to dispel that stereotype.

The students in my class are economically challenged.

Despite this set back, I have seen some students come in below grade-level and leave scholars. However, it took a lot of work on their part. My school is in an inner city neighborhood and there are many who believe the only way out is through sports, but I say no.

My Project

During this trying time, many students and parents are concerned about their safety went returning to the classroom. I want to ensure that my class is a safe place for myself and most importantly my students. We work hard to provide a complete learning environment that is first of all clean, second a place of peace, and third conducive to learning Mathematics. I will be providing a hand sanitizing routine before entering the class, along with face covering, and also, desk wiping between each class.

We are living through some very scary times and if I can do my part by helping to keep my classroom clean then I want to do so.
