Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If students don't feel safe in their classroom, it will greatly impact their learning experience. One of the most important things I can do as a teacher is to ensure that my students will be safe when they enter my classroom this fall. Even though many consider COVID to be in the past, my fourth graders will still have to take precautions to be safe in school. By doing so, it will ensure they are in school everyday and learning.

I am requesting masks, disinfecting wipes, and new filters for our HEPA air purifier to help keep our classroom clean and my students healthy this year.

If you have kids at home, you know that they go through wipes and masks like no one's business! Having extra wipes and masks on hand will allow my students to help keep their classroom clean and germ-free, especially during the winter months. The masks will be available to wear throughout the day and will make it safer for kids to work together in groups. The wipes will be used to clean shared classroom items that students use to learn. Disinfecting them means everyone has the resources they need throughout the day.

With your support, I can provide my students with a healthy, safe, and germ-free classroom this year!
