My Project

My students are sent to my school on disciplinary transfers, meaning they struggle in traditional learning environments. A lot of them also come to use after spending time juvenile detention, meaning they have been in an uncomfortable environment. A lot of my kids love coming in my classroom because of the atmosphere. This past year I had a couple students call it the "living room" because of all the fun seating and decorations!

However, after a couple years of constant use, my old beanbags are worn out and in need of replacing.

I would also like to expand my collection of fidgets to accommodate all students. Some students find it relaxing to write or draw during class, so I'd like to keep small journals stocked for those kids. I'd also like a date display to keep at the front of the room so students do not need to ask what day it is.
