My Project

The materials requested will help my classroom in a variety of ways. I have chosen the materials so that my students have certain resources accessible to them to complete and organize projects. For example, when learning new skills, it is important to have chart paper so that students can refer to the new information on a daily basis. Erase boards, scissors, crayons, and dry-erase markers will allow my students to complete fun, interactive activities. In addition to my students completing their work, it is important for our classroom to maintain a positive learning environment. I use many stickers to praise student work and also fill in our kindness classroom chart. Once filled up with 100 stickers (100 acts of kindness), the class is rewarded with a pizza party. Students also need a place to organize their work. The binders, labels, and cart will specifically help my students and me organize materials in a specific way so that they are easy to find and access when necessary. As of right now, my classroom does not have a carpet. We have a nice library area, so a carpet will help to provide a cozy, comfortable area for small groups. All of these items will be greatly appreciated!
