My Students

*Bell Rings. "Take out your PENCILS and get started on morning work," says the teacher. "I don't have a pencil," says one student. "Pencil sharpener isn't working," says another student. This happens every morning in our class. What a nightmare! Kids are ready to learn; help us get started WRITE!

My class consist of 21 vibrant 2nd graders.

Our class is lively and eager to learn. We absolutely love to write about anything and everything. There is never a dull moment in our class. From hands-on learning activities to Interactive SmartBoard lessons, learning is always an adventure in our class.

My Project

The needed resources will better enrich the lives of each student within the classroom in many ways. Students will be able to get started immediately on the class assignments, which in turn will cut down on downtime. Also, students will be able to learn more because I will not have to stop teaching and handle pencil issues such as broken pencil sharpeners, dull pencils, and missing erasers.

Student engagement and learning are key to the lives of each and every student that steps foot in the classroom.

Those things should not be lost due to issues such as pencils and erasers. Our students deal with enough that hinder their learning and a pencil shouldn't be one. My 2nd graders come in every morning with an eagerness to learn. I match that eagerness with giving them my best. Help me give them the best.
