Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing classroom basics like Ziploc bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, and tissues can make a significant difference in my pre-k students' learning. These items may seem simple, but they play crucial roles in fostering a conducive learning environment:

The ziploc bags help keep small items organized, ensuring easy access to materials during activities and reducing distractions.

The notebooks allow my students to practice writing, drawing, and expressing themselves creatively, facilitating their cognitive and fine motor skill development.

Pens and pencils help my students to actively participate in lessons, encouraging them to write, draw, and explore ideas independently.

My goals for this project include enhancing students' readiness for learning by providing essential supplies, promoting independence and responsibility through the use of personal materials, and creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student's needs are met.

My pre-k SCIS students are special because they are at a critical stage of development where they are curious, imaginative, and eager to explore the world around them. They possess boundless energy and enthusiasm, making each day in the classroom a unique and exciting journey of discovery.
