This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My pre-k scholars are amazing. They are curious, kind, hardworking, and hilarious. These awesome scholars show up to school each day with a level of excitement and enthusiasm that inspires me to do all I can to create positive early learning experiences for each and every one of them.
We are a school family.
My pre-k scholars and I are committed to nurturing a positive classroom community in our school. As members of the elementary school family, we do our best to make our namesakes proud of our hard work.
I feel honored to spend each day supporting my scholars as they develop new skills and build relationships with one another.
My Project
With the rise in omicron COVID cases in Minnesota, we are struggling to keep up with the demand for masks for students and adults. Wearing masks is essential to keeping students and adults in our school family!
Each item in this project will go towards keeping us safe and healthy at school!
This project includes face masks for adults, children, and a classroom thermometer so we can monitor temperatures without having to bog down the school's nursing staff. Having our own thermometer will enable us to take students' temperature without losing learning time.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
