Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are one of the most diverse band programs in the state, with over 10 languages spoken and over 15 countries represented! Our main three languages are English, Spanish, and Arabic! We are a band program of over 100 students that make up our Beginning Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. We also have a world-class marching band, basketball pep band, and our students are involved in private lessons and chamber ensembles.

My Project

We are looking to purchase woodwind accessories for our students in the High School Band. Both at home and at school, our students and program do not have the resources to provide quality reeds, mouthpieces, and other woodwind accessories to our saxophone, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon students. Our students have a desire to become the best musicians possible and with your help, they can have access to quality accessories in order to sound their best. By funding this project, our band students will have the tools needed for professional music-making!
