My Project
My K-5 students have many interests and love a variety of books. I have many requests for new books that go beyond my budget. Providing access to these new high-interest books like "5 Worlds" graphic novel series and "Little People, Big Dreams" picture book biographies will allow me to show that their input matters and put books they love into their hands. All students in the school will be able to check out these books from the library to take home and read.
We know how essential reading choice is to students developing a lifelong love of reading.
These books are in series that students love, like "I Survived" or are on favorite non-fiction topics like dinosaurs and sharks. I know students will be eager to check out books like "Pizza and Taco" and "The Secret of Phantom Island" and share them with their friends.
