Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher, it is my goal to elevate my students, and inspire in them the belief that anything is possible and that if they push themselves they will succeed. At just six years old, my students face poverty, emotional and physical abuse, hunger, and emotional distress/trauma. And yet despite their hardships, I see that my first graders have courage, strength, and perseverance. My students come from a diverse background, and all of them try their best every school day!

My Project

My students need tissues and hand sanitizer during the winter months! Colds and germs spread very fast in a first grade classroom. My students are from poor economic backgrounds and families are unable to purchase these materials for my classroom. It is important students learn at a young age how to keep themselves and others safe and clean. In addition, Clorox wipes and spray will allow me to clean different materials, such as, furniture, door knobs, books, and math manipulatives in order to help keep my students healthy. Your donation will help me keep my students safe from flu germs.
