Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is multicultural, a totally free lunch, and has a population of approximately 75% ELL students. Our students love learning and can use all the support available to become successful in their academic carrier. My class is a group of 25 students 11 girls 14 boys. They love school and have expressed how much they looking forward to coming back to in-person learning. Many of them are concerned about the coronavirus and being infected, and infect their families. Keep them safe is my number one priority. As well as keep them interested in school, love to read, and participate in school activities.

The students benefit more from in-person learning, surrounded by books, being read to them on a regular basis.

I want to give them the support they need to master their skills. I would love to be able to provide them with even more resources in the classroom and at home, but at least will give them that little peace of mind.

With the upcoming time for the students to return to school, I will like for all of them and myself to be safe and keep them protected and follow all CDC Guidelines.

My Project

With the new normal and the spread of the coronavirus, we trying to get students, parents, and myself peace of mind. The students are coming back to in-person learning. With that, saying we need to keep the CDC safety requirements. In a group of 25 students, and in an A B setting is almost impossible to reach those guidelines. These shields will provide the opportunity to set at least every other student desk to get some protection from exposure. I hope you find in your heart to allow us to have this along with healthy handwashing and safety distance we will win this battle against the virus. Thanks for all you do.
