Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Ninety percent of our amazing students live below or near the poverty line. About 60% of our students are learning English in school. Sometimes our school struggles to get the resources we need to teach and care for our incredible students. This makes the job of a school even more important.

Many students we teach experience poverty, but that's just where they are starting.

Our students love to create art and read. They write computer code and even perform Shakespeare. They have big dreams, let's help them reach for those dreams!

My Project

Even though this year has been so crazy, my students LOVE school. I've noticed that they get so excited about creating art. Every time I say that we will do some art in class, they actually cheer.

Some of my students don't have art supplies.

Let's fix that!

With your help we can send an art supply kit full of art projects, stickers, craft kits and more to every student in my class, plus a few bins to keep everything in. We will use these art supplies to make poster, write books, and make decorations to cheer up our space. Thanks to you, students will be complete art projects and explore their curiosities!
