My students need some basic school supplies that they can use while they continue learning at home. They are transitioning to this new world and digital learning.
The students that I serve are mostly high poverty, energetic, and caring young people that need colored pencils, pencils, hand-held pencil sharpeners, construction paper, composition books, and metric rulers.
These basics will help them continue their science classwork from home.
My Project
My students need some basic supplies at home to keep distance learning continuing. Science is a subject in which students need to pay attention to details. Keeping the students engaged and able to document their work is essential.
The composition books, construction paper, pencils, colored pencils, metric rulers, and hand-held sharpeners will keep my middle school science students investigating as they learn from home.
These learning resources will be distributed to students that are in need and have reached out through my weekly wellness checks. Additionally, I have been assisting with student meal deliveries from the school bus and plan to distribute the school supplies in that manner.
