Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 21 little 4 year olds in my PreK class. They are happy and excited to meet with me in person or virtually every day. It is nice to meet with them and see their smiling faces during our virtual/face to face classes. This is their first school experience for all of them and I would like to make a positive impact in their learning experience.

My Project

I have been working a hybrid model. I have some students face to face and some students are virtual for now. I know in the future all of my students are going to come back face to face and I would like to be ready when this happens.

Due to all the social distance and not sharing materials during this COVID19 pandemic, I would like to make sure my students are safe while they keep their materials organized, clean, and separate one from another.

I would like to have a pencil caddy and a heavy duty bin to keep their materials at their desk. Each student will have a caddy and a bin to keep pencils, scissors, glue, etc. and a bin to keep their journals and bag of manipulatives. Since they can not share materials, this is a way to keep their materials close to them and make sure they have them ready when needed.
