Keep Our Outdoor Learning Area Clean!

Help me give my students an outdoor trashcan and compost bin for our outdoor learning area.

My Project

This year my school has partnered with a church to get garden beds installed outside and is working to create an outdoor learning area. We are really enjoying being able to take our classes outside and look forward to being able to add more to the area.

This project is for an outdoor trash can, compost bin, and grabbers to pick up trash.

Right now there is no trash can outside which makes it hard for us to keep the area clean when we use it. Sometimes the trash blows away before we can get it to bring it back in with us. Having the grabbers and a trash can out there would make it so much easier for us to keep the area clean, or us to be able to grab a grabber when we go out to utilize the area so we can clean up and teach our students about taking care of the earth.

The compost bin will be helpful in allowing us to teach our students hands on about compostable items and allowing us to take compostable items out to the garden. The big kids could bring the items from the cafe to the compost bin when they go water the plants and take care of the garden.

I can't wait to see this area transform into a even more exciting outdoor learning area. Thanks in advance for your support.
