My Students

Our school worked extremely hard to make sure every child was set up to participate remotely.

It felt impossible but we got it done!

We have live classes almost daily and so many children participate. It’s amazing to hear their enthusiasm for our book talks and see their beautiful smiles.

My Project

We just finished our third novel study and although the students participate and enjoy this experience, it’s not the same on a screen. Since our school closed without notice we were not able to send home actual books with students and they’ve been using a pdf version and audible as an alternative for continuing our novel study. We have 6 weeks left of remote learning and I would love to put a real book in their hands. Reading is a great way to pass the time and these kids deserve to go on some adventures. What better way than to receive a good book! I will personally mail each student these books and ask them to share it with a friend when they are done. This way the students can experience the amazing feeling of giving and they can be a part of some good news. Thank you so much for your generosity!
