I am the school nurse for a public school with a great bunch of kids! Part of my job is to perform state mandated screenings for the kids to monitor their height, weight, vision, and hearing. This is important to assess these things to make sure the children are healthy and able to learn.
Having the proper, updated equipment to screen my students efficiently will help them be able to put their best efforts forth to be a school success!
My Project
These materials are meant to help organize and clean the nurse's office in addition to a few things to help keep it pretty and presentable.
I included some equipment such as eye exam charts and a new digital bathroom scale needed to help screen the kids for glasses and healthy weight.
I also included some equipment needed to assess the kids when they are sick such as a new thermometer.
Other things like bulletin board supplies and laminator will help me produce educational materials to teach the students about healthy habits throughout the school year.
Lastly, I included some cleaning supplies to help keep the office clean including a Swiffer WetJet Hardwood Floor Mopping and Cleaning Starter Kit, Broom and Dustpan Set, and a Bath Bliss Steel Toilet Brush and Holder.
