Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing this proposal for my students who participate in our school musical. Our elementary school serves a large urban area with a high percentage of students from low-income homes. Our student body is culturally diverse, allowing our school community to experience languages and customs from many cultures as we interact daily.

The majority of my students do not have the opportunity to explore and experience high-quality theater arts instruction outside of the school setting.

Seeing them grow in their knowledge and excitement about music brings joy and a sense of accomplishment to our entire school community. Many of our students will continue participating in music at the high school level.

We are requesting cleaning supplies like dry erase wipes, brooms, and dustpan sets for maintaining a clean organized learning environment. My students love to help out in the classroom. They are always much happier and work better in a clean classroom. The wipes, brooms, and dustpans are just what our classroom needs. Having our own set of cleaning items will get many students involved in maintaining our learning space so that learning is always taking a step forward. Thank you for supporting our project.
