The students in my Kindergarten classroom are a creative, hard-working, curious, thoughtful, and adventurous group of children. Always eager to learn the moment they enter the classroom as they look to the daily agenda to see what the day will be and then...we are off and learning with days filled with exploration, invention, reading, creative expression, practice, and thoughtfulness. I am looking to make their learning experience even more engaging by adding learning tools for the classroom through DonorsChoose donations.

My Project

The Kids First Amusement Park Engineer Kit, the Kids First Automobile Kit, and the Melissa and Doug Dramatic Play Sandwich Making Kit and Condiment Caddy will help my children continue to develop their love for engineering activities and create variety in the dramatic play kitchen.

My kids have expressed so much joy and play in the kitchen!

Their friendship skills and language skills grow every time they use the kitchen for dramatic play - and - my kids are engaged beyond measure whenever I put out engineering activities! I know the engineering kits will keep them learning and keep them excited about all the design and building possibilities that engineering has to offer! Stocking the play kitchen with more play items will provide variety and engagement as children continue to develop their social skills and emerging language skills!
