My Project

In my ELA classroom, I strive to create an environment where students feel valued, motivated, and inspired to learn. To enhance this space, I am seeking funding for a locked storage cabinet that will serve multiple important purposes.

This cabinet will provide a safe and secure place for students’ belongings, ensuring they have a designated area to store personal items or classroom materials without worry.

It will also house incentives and rewards—books, school supplies, and small tokens of encouragement—that celebrate students’ hard work and progress. Having these materials protected and organized ensures that they remain accessible, giving students the reassurance that their efforts will always be recognized.

Beyond its practical benefits, this cabinet represents something greater: warmth and care in their education. It tells students that their needs matter, that their growth is supported, and that their learning environment is designed with their success in mind. Many of my students face challenges outside the classroom, so small yet meaningful gestures—like having a safe space for their belongings and the excitement of earning a reward—make a profound difference.
