This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What makes my scholars special is that they have a passion to strive for their lifelong learning. Their perseverance is out of this world because they have a heart of gold and always give it 100 percent. They are fully aware that it’s important in any new situation to question everything. They understand why things have been done a certain way, and because of that, they are eager to step out of the box and face challenges. Their strive to intake all that they have learned and implement it in their daily lives is an inspiration to all the teachers that have seen their growth and success.

My Project

Our campus will be having a soccer team this year. This team will be our first all-female soccer team ranging from grades 3rd-5th grade. The team will be traveling for most of their games to other schools around the area. The girls will be practicing three times out of the week here on campus. However, with limited access to our water fountains, we need water dispensers available for students to use during and after each practice and game. The dispensers will be located outside with water to keep players hydrated. We will also be using our water dispensers when we travel to our soccer games. These items will be used for all outdoor sports activities that we have at our campus. My students will love the fact that they will have a traveling water dispenser to call their own.
