Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our library is filled with books about history, animals, dinosaurs, friendship and love. Students love to hear a read aloud, do a project and check out books each week.

As the school librarian I am privileged to share these adventures with them and create amazing memories.

With your help, the library can use a boost!

Literacy is so important, and learning the alphabet with plush characters would be so much fun for the younger students as well as a word of the day for the older students. We can also use some new name badges to hold their name tags that also serves as a library card complete with their barcode to check out their books each week. These new materials will help to continue creating these magical memories.

One thing students have requested for our library is book baskets to obtain easier access to our books. I am excited to organize the Non-Fiction books in these baskets for students to explore.
