My Students

I was just blessed with the sweetest class of 1st graders! They have already stolen my heart. We are a mixture of all different races and are almost 50/50 boys and girls. A large percentage of my students qualify for free/reduced lunch. They are so motivated to learn and I am dedicated to giving them the best of myself! It's easy to do when they come in with huge smiles on their faces ready for a big hug. I want them to feel successful while learning. 1st grade is a very challenging year where SO much growth occurs. I want to provide them with learning experiences that will last a lifetime.

My Project

I am making this request because I think that color makes everything POP! Centers and games for little ones are much more engaging if they are colorful. I also LOVE taking pictures of my class while they are working and learning or for special projects. These also look much better in color and not black and white copy paper. I want to brighten the classroom environment with these pictures, centers, and games.

"Thanks so much for the sweet keepsake," is a quote heard from parents when we make things with pictures.

My students will also be able to look back on these for years to come and remember the excitement of learning in 1st grade. Hopefully they will remember some of the activities that we did that included lively & colorful pictures to spice up their tasks.

Another great thing about this printer is that I will be able to sign up for a program through HP that allows my printer to inform HP when I am low on ink and for one low monthly fee it will be delivered right when I need it. This is done at a HUGE discount compared to what teachers normally pay for ink. It's just a WIN-WIN all the way around! :)
