My Students

I teach technology grades Kindergarten thru 3rd grade in a Title I school in East Flatbush Brooklyn, New York. Many of my students are from families that fall below the poverty line. I have students of varying levels, special needs and languages all in the technology lab at the same time. They are bright, cheerful, loving and eager to learn.

Many of my students do not have access to technology at home so when they come to the technology lab they are excited and eager to get to work.

My Project

My students participated in Hour of Code and many fell in love with coding. My students need the Dash Robot and Amazon Fire Tablet to continue to explore and learn coding. Many of my students are always asking to goto coding web sites I want to bring them to the next level and the Dash Robot will do that. The Dash Robot will not only teach them coding it will also help them with problem solving.

The next computer programmer or app designer could be sitting in my class.

I want to give my students every opportunity to reach his/her dream.
