My Project

Libraries have a mission: to make books accessible to everyone.

But unlike bookstores, library spaces frequently aren’t designed around the browsing experience. The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have tenants!!!!! In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We have the books!! We just need your help in getting everything organized for our eager young readers!! I have ONE goal!! Get as many books as possible into the hands of my young readers EASILY!

A is for Autonomy - A combination of clear signage and face-out displays makes it easier than ever for readers to find books on their own.

B is for Browsability - My goal is creating face-out displays on my library shelves to make more books visible to kids, especially young learners.

C is for Circulation Boost - Increased circulation means KIDS ARE READING MORE BOOKS!!!!

My goal is to provide better access to ALL books. It’s all about making my students independent library users. We have a new library we just need the tools to organize, create eye-catching and cohesive displays, and, make it child and user friendly! These organizational bins will be placed on our shelves in the library to create front-facing browsing bins which are proven to increase independent browsing, increase library circulation, and create independence in the library for young children! A combination of clear signage and face-out displays makes it easier than ever for my readers to find books on their own creating independence and fostering a life long love of reading!
