My Project

Aloha nui kākou!

I am a kumu papa 3 (3rd grade teacher).

All subjects are taught through ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language medium). Our school is rich in Hawaiian culture, and we strive to raise our students to be rooted in Hawaiian values. I am hoping to be able to incorporate technology into the classroom so my students are able to not only be connected to the land and elements around them, but also have access to resources that will help them thrive academically. We will be able to use our place-based curriculum and make connections through math, science and other subjects with online apps and resources. My haumāna (students) see the world through a cultural lens that promotes a greater worldview, and I want to be able to continue to guide them to love learning.
