This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our School is beginning a Positive Reinforcement Initiative that provides a school-based approach to reinforcement strategies. We are starting a school store in hopes to allow students to receive positive reinforcement in order to support behaviors matching our school values. We CARE About OURSELVES. We CARE About OTHERS. We CARE About Our SCHOOL!
These supplies are to be the beginning of our school store supplies and are going to be the tangible reinforcers students will be able to purchase using points earned throughout the school day.
In addition, our hope is also to allow our special education students that are engaging in vocational programming to run the store as well as teach our middle school students about business management and job skills.
