My Project

At our school, an institution dedicated to fostering young minds with special needs. The items will be used within a classroom where students will engage in physical activity.

T-Ball Set: Students will be given the opportunity to explore the game of baseball by practicing swinging a bat in a controlled and adapted manner.

Basketball Hoop: The gym in our school is a classroom adapted to to become a physical gym for our students. A basketball hoop will provide the opportunity for my students to learn basketball with adjustable height preferences to accommodate each and every student.

Stackable Steps: Students will use the steps for warm-up activities in the gym such as jumping, and steeping up and down the steps.

Playground Balls: Students will use the ball to practice throwing and catching the ball in order to utilize their manipulative skills.

These supplies not only allows students to get some physical activity but it teachers them team building, problem solving and learning new physical skills. Sports is such a important part in many children's lives and including them in our daily class schedule will help them master a sport they love!
