My Students

A comfortable, happy learning environment is what I strive for in my classroom. My ultimate goal is to have a student-centered classroom where students can easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss topics as a whole class.

There is nothing better than watching my students get excited about learning!

I teach 2nd grade in a school where the spirit of learning soars and character grows! Our population of 460 students is currently at 28% poverty level. It is my goal as a second grade teacher to keep students safe, love them, and teach them as much as I can. I truly want to foster each child's love for learning and help every student feel successful.

My Project

The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats will provide a comfy place for my students to meet and work together in our classroom. We already have a great low to the ground table, but we need seats with backs for the boys and girls to use. My students will love sitting around our round table on these new comfy seats!

These "Just Their Size" seats will be the perfect place for my students to be cozy when working and playing games with their friends.

My students will be able to use these seats throughout the day when working or playing. I can picture them sitting around the table reading, completing a puzzle and working on a project together. They will love them!
