My Students

A comfortable, happy learning environment is what I strive for in my classroom. My ultimate goal is to have a student-centered classroom where students can easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss topics as a whole class.

There is nothing better than watching my students get excited about learning!

I teach 2nd grade in a school where the spirit of learning soars and character grows! Our population of 460 students is currently at 28% poverty level. It is my goal as a second grade teacher to keep students safe, love them, and teach them as much as I can. I truly want to foster each child's love for learning and help every student feel successful.

My Project

The Flex-Space Round Floor Table will provide a comfy place to meet and work together in our classroom. It is tough to play games or work as a team at a pod of desks. It seems like pieces are always falling on the floor and disrupting the activity.

This "Just Their Size" table will be the perfect meeting place for small groups of my students to come together and work together in our little classroom community.

My students will be able to use this table throughout the day when working or playing. I can picture them on little pillows sitting around the table completing a puzzle or working on a project together.
