This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a high-poverty area where most students do not attend preschool. My classroom is often their first educational experience and I love to make it engaging and fun so they are always eager to come to school.

More often than not, we run out of basic supplies well before the end of the school year.

I am requesting some basics such as letter puzzles, paper, pencils, glue sticks and chalk so that my students will have plenty of supplies to finish this school year. These items will be used every day to complete all of the important tasks a kindergartener has to do!
