My Students

The students at my school are amazing. I know you probably hear this a lot, but seriously, my students are phenomenal. They attend a K-12 public school for gifted and talents students in the middle of a major city!

Our students are creative, innovative, and full of life, but this is only part of what makes them so phenomenal.

They are eager to learn not only their subjects in school but they also want to know more about the world around them.

My Project

Everyday in our classroom is filled with reading and writing. With these supplies we will never be short a pen, or highlighter! We also have a student supply center set up in the room so that our students know where to go for basics like tape and writing utensils. However, we are missing a few tape dispensers so these 3 will bit a big help!

Everyday we spend the first 10 minutes of class reading an independent reading book of our choice.

For many students, this is they favorite part of class. I am also requesting 2 new books for our classroom library to help keep it current and stocked!
