Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children are often more engaged in their learning when seating options are offered within the classroom, it also helps keep them more alert and focused.

Uncomfortable children are distracted and unproductive children.

Most of my students like to sit on the carpet during circle time/instruction, however some of them ask to be allowed to sit on a chair. By offering them the option to sit on the bench they will be able to engage in instruction without feeling uncomfortable.

Dismissal time could also be uncomfortable when waiting for families to pick up if there isn't a safe comfortable place to sit and wait. Having the option to place a bench for my students to wait, will reduce the stress of waiting to be picked up.
