This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to work in collaborative groups. Having tables in my classroom allows them to work together and build a strong community. I currently have some pretty old and worn out single desks. Although I can push them closer together for group work, they don't fit together to provide a solid workspace. They are all different heights and the way the legs are, they can only be pushed so close. I am looking to replace those desks with round tables. This will allow students to have the space to work both independently and collaboratively.
