This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our school’s very first competitive swim team! Though our team is small, with just three dedicated members, we are determined and full of spirit. However, to help our swimmers perform their best during practices and meets, we need some essential items.

Currently, the swimmers are provided with a swimsuit, hoodie, and swim cap.

However, there are additional items that would make a huge difference in their experience and success. Towels are crucial to ensure the swimmers stay warm and dry after practice, especially when heading out into the cold. Swim caps designed for long hair are needed to help keep braids dry and secure. Goggles and earplugs are essential to prevent irritation, while reusable water bottles will keep them hydrated throughout their training. Lastly, a duffle bag would allow us to carry all their gear easily and efficiently.

Your support can help ensure that these hardworking students have everything they need for an incredible first season in the pool. Together, we can make their debut unforgettable!
