My Project

We have a thriving gardening and greenhouse club at my high school, where every club meeting is bursting at the seams. In our greenhouse, we raise and propagate tropicals to distribute to teachers and classrooms, including rare pjilodendrons and monsteras, epiphytic cacti, orchids, ferns, citrus, and so much more.

Outside, we are less fortunate and have to deal with impacted soil caused by neighborhood pedestrians and their dogs, damaged plants due to wayward teens, and construction debris that still surfaces.

We tried affordable wooden beds a few years ago, but after a short time, they have rotted, cracked and basically unusable.

With these metal raised beds, we hope that students can enjoy gardening for years to come and not see their delicate seedlings or newly sprouted bulbs eaten by rabbits or stepped on by children.
