Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students have varying degrees of autism. We work hard every day. As they work, sometimes they can become overwhelmed by external stimuli, such as loud sounds. When this happens my students know they can take a break in our cool-down corner. In our cool-down corner we have books, playdough, and puzzles.

This is where we need the bean-bag chairs, which will add an extra place for my students to take breaks throughout the day, while using their favorite fidget toys.

The chairs will provide a nice comfy space for them to sit and wind down.
